Spark of hopeWhile their main website is down for a relaunch, the people of SMGO took to Tumblr to inform the masses that there's a small spark of hope for Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series to continue. Specifically, the people behind SMGOtv are poised to launch a crowd-funded campaign (think Kickstarter) to save the two fan favorite animated shows but they must first receive the official OK from WB Animation. If they get approval, fans will be able to finance more material for the shows (episodes, OVA, film, etc.). If you want to see more YJ and GL:TAS then continue to make your voices heard right up till the April 11th meeting.

Christmas and the new year are coming soon. Many groups do a Contest because of this. You know we are a group for Fantasy-Characters. It would be possible to let you create an OC celebrating Christmas, but that would be too easy and we did that once ago. We want to have many members participating our Contest, so we thought about taking a theme, you told us last time, we asked you about themes for a contest. The Contest will be open to everyone. Warner Bros. Denies Revival Campaigns Of DC NATIONThe news that breaks my heart, as you can tell form the tittle...it's over.
According to SMGO.tv, the meeting Warner Bros. earlier in April to discuss putting Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series back into production was unfortunately unsuccessful. In a quick, and upsetting update by the site SMGO or Show Must Go On, told fans on their Tumblr page that Warner Bros said No to the fan campaign revival. They also said that Warner Bros. believed that the fans could not reach the necessary funding for the show (to be fair, it's probably more expensive than we thought). The campaign started out in a voting phase, where the fans would vote for a revival of the show. If the bar reached 100%, we would enter a funding phase, similar to Kickstarter. However, a meeting was commissioned between the two parties earlier in April. Now, it seems that meeting was unsuccessful.

Hello my fellow dragon cartoonists!,
In honor of our new status as a super group we are holding a new contest!

The contest will be Elemental Dragons
Earth
Air
Fire
Water

5th elements
Metal
or
Spirit (Magic)
I don't know much about the elements to be honest, but the few websites I browsed had a few 5th elements. It was always Metal or Spirit.

Prizes:

1st Place will receive 1000 points and a chibi by !Heart-Dragon
2nd Place will receive a 3 month membership and a chibi by !Heart-Dragon
3rd Place will receive 300 points and a chibi by !Heart-Dragon

I've tried to be fair in my judgement and made sure to look at every piece and evaluate if said dragon looked like it used said element. If it did, then I looked at composition, silhouette value, overall flow of detail (if there was too much in one area, not enough in another, or confusing structure or anatomy) if there was some sort of story being told to add to why said dragon used their element, et cetera, to help me further judge.

How detailed or realistically rendered a drawing is was not my focus for it isn't this contests focus.

I hope everyone makes a fair evaluation of the entries before making a final vote. I also hope many of you know/understand why I am posting this comment.
